What is Outbound Marketing?
Outbound marketing uses outreach or contact tactics to reach an audience. It can include advertising and prospecting; its execution must respect context, relevance, and communication conditions.
While most traditional ads can be categorized as outbound ads, digital ad formats can also be found, such as social media and website banners, pop-ups, video ads, and more.
However it is presented, what defines outbound marketing as a whole is making the sale the goal of all its strategies. That is why the open-minded approach seeks, in all its marketing techniques and procedures, to draw the customer’s attention to a product or service through a direct presentation.
To present this set of actions to potential customers, all the arguments used in outbound marketing are simple, direct, and not very developed.
In other words, in outbound marketing the actions are more automatic and do not seek as much to divert or nurture contacts in order to draw their attention, increase brand awareness, and improve the position of the product or service relative to the competition.
