What Is a Heatmap?
Heatmaps represent aggregations of interaction through colors. They can show clicks or scrolling depending on the tool; they need context to avoid misinterpretations of attention or intent.
On one hand, this is done by using warm colors (usually red, orange, and yellow) to show the workspace of clicks or focused attention, versus cool colors (blue, green) for areas that do not receive user attention.
This type of technique depends on the concepts of eye tracking, the technology refers to a range of technical processes for tracking how a person views an image or visual images.
Although in some cases, as we will see, these techniques are not 100% reliable, and should be integrated with any complete analytics package for decisions, especially interface (User Interface) and UX (user experience) users
The information we rely on directly in specific actions, such as clicking on links, banners, and other relevant factors. They allow short-term decisions (for example, whether a banner for a particular campaign works and what CTR you get)
