Feed

What is a Feed?

A feed is a sequence or collection of content that updates for consumption or distribution. The term can describe social posts, RSS subscriptions, or other data depending on the context.

For example, the feed can be an editorial (if it is a list of articles or news) or a tab (if it is a list of products or services). Feeds can appear anywhere on pages.

Your site may have a different feed for mobile and desktop devices. For example, a desktop grid layout, when viewed on a mobile device, becomes a feed.

In this case, you can create different ads in the feed for different screen sizes.

Note: when referring to InFeed ads, a feed does not refer to a web delivery feed like RSS. Even within each social network or website, Feeds can be found as an organized way to display the elements present in them and that are used by influencers.
