What is a CMS?
A CMS, or content management system, lets you manage content for a site or platform. Its capabilities depend on the system, the extensions, and the configured permissions.
On the other hand, updating the website content also becomes a difficult task. Especially as the website grows, as the number of pages increases, the page structure or hierarchy becomes more complex.
The necessary conveniences, such as modifying existing content, searching for and locating pages, general management of pages, images, and resources on the server, or custom development or imposed tools, have increased the cost and complexity of the site.
In short, we needed a generic, easy-to-use tool that would initially allow us to create a website without constantly using advanced technical resources. And second, to manage, operate, and maintain it over time in an integrated environment without the need for other external tools.
A Content Management System, often referred to by the abbreviation CMS, emerged to meet this need.
